Multi 1200's beak

Do you tech brainiacs think that by changing the shape of the beak would change the performance of the bike or it's just a mith?
Same air intake amount but without the beaky looking snout.
Also, is there any of you guys that has replaced the stock plastic intakes with CF and wants to sell the old ones?

Attached is an image that circulated way before the Multi was out. Not my doing. My guess Photoshop work.

yeah I dont like the beak much but it is growing on me. I quite like the looks of the bike now I am used to it. Its such a sleeper too. The beak and the top box makes it look a little old man, but the look on a sportsbike riders face when you hand his arse to him in the twisties is priceless

luv it

When I bought my bike my dealer suggested I buy a gold nose ring to go with the nose on the black bike. Not a bad idea. When I first saw the bike I thought "my god what an ugly front end" But after a half hour test ride I put down my deposit. The bikes not about looks, that's for sure. It's a rider.

Mine kind of reminds me of an evil RAVEN

I used to walk by them in the dealer thinking it had too strong of features and I couldn't really tell what the real purpose of the bike was. Then I saw the utube video of the Pikes Peak hill climb, then I read some articles and it was game over. Looking at the pictures it loses it's personality and character without the beak.
