Can't decide. 58 or 73l panniers?

I want the extra space o the 73 but worried about the looks (too wide). Anyone have pics of both of them from the front or rear?

Chime in with your thoughts! Thank you.

I ordered the 73l and will take them off when i don't want them. Or get both, order the 58 and get the 73 covers. (Go big or go home!)

I did the DP panniers since I didn't want an unsightly frame (swmotech, givi, etc) when I wanted them off the bike.

I only use panniers when I'm traveling. They're never on the bike during city use.

Bought the 58's. Found them less than adequate and ended up having to strap an extra 50L duffle bag to the seat. DEFINITELY not going to cut it for even a weekend away with a passenger. MUCH less capacity than my MTS1000's panniers had.

Ended purchasing the larger lids. Could have saved myself some money by going with my original instincts and buying the larger ones to start with.

I did have the 58 and 73 liter panniers/cases on my Touring.
The 73 liter ones look indeed big from the back, but because I use the panniers only on vacation (me on the Multi with also a big bag on the saddle and my wife on a M796 with one small bag) i did use only the 73 liter one.

That's also why i ordered only the 73 liter one for my PP.

I have both; use the larger boxes for extended camping trips.

Yes, the 73L boxes are huge; it depends on how much you want/need to carry.

Sometimes I want/need to carry a lot.

For Scale.

Use my 73L nearly all the time. They are much more useful than the 58L.

I have no plan to ever use the limited 58L set again.

If you ride 2 up, 73l. I have never noticed them being too bulky, but would like more room...

I just bought the wide lids in addition to the standard cases, not too expensive... that way I can have the best of both worlds!
