How does the kickstand circuit complete?
If anyone knows this it will tell me if I am heading in the right direction.
The bike has been stalling. Weird that it has just started out of nowhere after 15k miles...although maybe something 'happened' at the 15kd service? Who knows.
Since after a stall it will not turn over in first w/ the clutch pulled in, I am working on the theory that it is somehow being caused by the kickstand circuit...since it will start once I put it in neutral. The mating surfaces of the kickstand stops was lightly rusted over, so I'm wondering if that is where the circuit completes. I filed both clean, and after a short ride...no stalling, but this could just be coincidental as the stalling has been very intermittent...and it only started yesterday.
Hope someone knows how this works.
