So, I'm getting the Titanium one
The next week is going to be sssooo long. Taking delivery of the new 2012 MTS1200 Touring in Titanium matte.
Do you have any pointers on things to look for when taking delivery of the bike or should I just trust the dealer.

congrats
enjoy the ride
there are plenty of simple little things to keep in mind but trawling through this forum covers it.
but a couple of things
- remove ( or glue on ) the rubber grommets that are on the lower pannier brackets ( when not in use ) . otherwise you will lose them
- get the upgraded rear spring if you are a fat prick like me
- you may experience surging/poor fueling at below 3500 . common problem mostly experienced of course when in traffic/commuting. there are a couple of fixes now available if you feel you need it.
cheers

Sensational mate! Hang in there, just a few more sleeps.
Just 2 1/2 weeks to go now before I get my PP.
See you on the road I hope.

my favorite color of them all, and one that will look great with a few bits of carbon sprinkled on it.
congrats,

That color definitely take the #2 slot. I am thinking about buying some trashed plastics and doing a matte black with some reflective shades of grey digital camo ducati sinage. Think Cannondale Bad Boy.
Congrats on the bike!

KMA JG, Post pics! I always find real photos better than the airbrushed Ducati slicks.

Hi all,
In my original post there is a link to a video of the bike still at the dealer. The color isn't even close to the silver on the Ducati website.
Don't know if the CF stuff will match the matt paint. It shines too much.
Aurelius, I like your idea of the camo decals...
Sure to post some pics when I get it.
