DP c/f rear hugger on an MTS12?

Has anyone installed the DP c/f rear hugger on an MTS12?

I have this part, but it didn't come with any hardware and the hardware for the stock plastic hugger doesn't fit.

Did you have this problem?

Hi curvesurfer, I fitted the dp rear hugger but had to use my own screws as the dp hugger does not come with the holes drilled out to the correct size. Have a few dp parts and they are all the same.....wrong size pre-drilled holes.

Thanks Jimmy. That helps confirm I'm not missing something...

One would think the c/f part would be from the same template as the stock piece, but I guess not!

+1. I had to go out and dig up my own mounting hardware too. Many write it off as typically Ducati but c'mon...is hardware too much to ask for such a crazy expensive add-on?

it's even more aggravating because the 3 bolts used to attach the hugger are not the same size....1 is different than the other 2 for no apparent reason.

viva italia!

Yeah Welcome to Ducati...
I wonder if Shift Tech does it better ,
you would think the workers at the Ducati Botique would tell you that you need Hardware ,also to save you a trip..
Just like removing the belly pan , USE all the same fasteners , what's with 2 different sizes???

Hows the finish ? I have seen some and it looks like there are different degrees of shine or lack of , I know it should not matter but it would be expected to have Very Close to the same looking end product...
QUALITY CONTROL issues...
