696 Front Fender - cracked at mounting points - common?
I washed my bike for the first time a couple of weeks ago and when I washed the front fender, the two mounting points snapped on the right side. Just wondering if this is common or someone really torqued the hell out of it when they re-installed it.
Thanks
-Josh

Just happened to me as well, right side bottom portion cracked. Not too much torque applied to bolt, either. As much as I don't like carbon fiber, I guess I'll be buying one soon...

Just left warranty at the end of March
Though Beverly Hills Ducati said they wouldn't be able to get the claim through...

yeah...I could...been looking for a cheaper one (spending $340 on the Ducati carbon does not seem like a wise investment)...was hoping to find one for sale on the forums somewhere...

You should be able to find a replacement stock fender since a lot of people do switch to carbon...

yeah but its so minor...and the fender is still secure (bolts are still in place) I'm thinking, why bother?
Either upgrade or leave it...
