2008 S4RS (new to me)

I just picked her up Wednesday night at Pro Italia. This would be the 5th Ducati I have owned and it is my favorite so far. She has 3800 miles, Full Termis, A nice nice tune, and a lot of attitude! My previous Ducatis didn't move or handle like this one!

Here is a picture from today before I did an oil change.

My only plans for the bike:
Suspension Clinic tuneup.
Find the cleanest tail tidy kit around.
Get some clean looking turn signals.
Remove reflectors.
The factory did the rest of the mods

Thanks guys!

So it seems that in order to get a real clean looking tail eliminator, you have to chop the subframe huh? I'd really hate to do that on this "limited" bike. Is there any other options? I was thinking of buying a separate subframe from a wrecked bike and chopping that one.

Well, the Monster has a one piece frame so I'm afraid it's either chop or don't chop. If you choose not to you can either raise the plate like I did or eliminate the under fender completely. I for one like this better than a full chop.

that is a beautiful bike. i've got a black '07 S4RS, it's just a blast to ride.

one other thing you might try is cranking up the ride height a couple of turns, it really "wakes up" the handling response.

Beauty...

about the tail there is a shorter carbon fibre one that mine has that looks a bit better than the stock one without cutting the frame. It also keeps the stock signal lamps. Cannot tell where to get it since mine came with it. Will post pics when I have a chance to.
