Steering dampers Ohlins or Bitubo?

I ride a Monster S2R. Looking to add dampers and I came across the Bitubos and thr Ohlins SD 153. The bitubos go on the handlebar and the Ohlins go on the fork. Any thoughts of the pros and cons of each damper. Thanks

Either is a great option, both companies have been suppliers for Ducati for years... Matris also has good options to consider.

Bitubo has some really trick stuff, I just picked up an older style bitubo carbon cross-mounted damper... You may want to check out the Ohlin's damper kit that Arrow makes so you can mount the Ohlins damper above the handlebar (like bitubo)

Make sure you get the kit that is compatible so you dont have interference with your tank.

Be aware that a cross mount won't work if you have risers instaled.

I used the Ohlins side mount and quite like it.

I've fitted a DP steering damper on my S4Rs which seems to work OK, one word of warning, be careful if you lift the tank as the damper is very close and could easily damage the paint.
