Sc project oval or carbon termi?
I still can't make my mind up which exhaust to put on my monster. Bike is a 1100s with pearl white panels and red frame.
Termi is most common choice. I can get them for £880 . This gets me the Ducati performance ecu, air filter, and 2 cans. I had them on my last monster and they sound good. But I do fancy a change. Plus the build quality has been rubbish lately . It'd also cost another little bit of cash for the dealer to reset my tps after I fit them.
I fancy the sc project oval cans in carbon. These are £607 delivered from Italy. Build quality is apparently very good, but I've never seen any for real. I quite like the rarity , and the fact they are 300 less than termi.

I sold my old 696 termi kit for £550. So that money is there, and any extra I have to make up.
If I don't buy termi's I also have some carbon heat shields I could sell that I removed from the last bike worth £50 ish.
Any thoughts appreciated? I've considered all the other options and have narrowed it down to these two.
Thanks

All other options? could I confuse you a little with these. I love the sound & quality.
The SC project's are also nice, but I have not heard them.

Hope this helps make your mind up, personally I think the Termis look great, they compliment the bikes lines. The look of some some after market pipes don't integrate very well IMHO. Haven't seen SC Project set up in the flesh, so cannot comment on them.

Hi, yeh I considered the arrow cans . A good friend of mine owns a company who sells them but I prefer the design of the sc project cans. I had arrow on my Daytona 675 a few years ago, and they were a nice sound and good quality.
So I'm still back to the termi or sc ......

Yeh the termi's are a nice can. But I've had them on my previous 696 monster , and I wasn't too impressed with the quality for the price. I also fancy a change too as my other bike has termi anyway.
Nice bike, is it yours? Same colours as mine. I've not ridden mine yet, as I got it 3 weeks ago, and the weather is awful so it's staying in the garage until next year.

Post when you get them. I'm having the same dilemma, though was thinking the SC GP Evo's. Do you know whether any sort of tuning will be needed? I was hoping to avoid changing the airbox or fiddling with the ECU. Lots of pictures please, when you are done.

Yeah its mine, very happy with it, constantly looking for the next bit of bling for it.
I agree that the quality of the Termis varies greatly but im happy with mine. I'm sure you'll love the SC Exhaust, would be interested to see how the 2-1 SC full system would go.

Yeh I'll get some pics posted as soon as they arrive. I don't believe they need any ecu tweaking or anything.
Cheers

I have some oval carbon SC's on my 696, very good quality and finish. I run them with the baffles in so they have a little note but a huge weight saving and cuts down on some of the radiant heat from std mufflers
