696 Valve Adjustment

Its basically winter and time to bring the bike inside and have some non-riding fun.
Its pitiful how LITTLE info there is out there on doing Valve Adjustments on the monster 696, especially when considering how many of them sold in the last 3 years! When you google 696... there's NOTHING!
This is where YOU come in!
PLEASE share with me links, pictures, videos, how-to-guides, special tools, advice, and any other valuable info on doing the Valve Adjustment on the 696 (without bringing it to a dealer).
I will try to SHARE this info across multiple boards with as many fellow ducatisti as I can.
*NOTE* I'm not interested in nay-sayers discouraging others on doing their own maintenance... I'm also NOT looking for Valve Adjustment info on: the M600, M750, M900, M400, M600, S4R, S4RS, S2R 800, S2R 1000, Monster 695, 620, 796, or 1100s. Did I miss any? (that was a rhetorical question)
*Moderators please keep this post in the most visible section of the forum (respectively), thanks.

I dont understand why you dont want information on valve adjustment on other Monster's for the most part they are the same, albeit maybe more or less stuff to remove to get to the valve's to inspect and adjust. If that is what you are looking for then just "do it" and during the process of getting to the valves you will learn more about how things are different on your bike then say a M695 or M900 or are you looking for shortcuts so that this wont take you all winter to do?
