Tall Monster Riders
At around 6'5'', I'm not short and have had to "make myself fit" into a lot of things.
I'm curious what tall Monster owners have done to their bikes to make them "fit" better if anything.
(sorry if this is a re-post)

Get a Multistrada instead, you'll be much happier
Even the 1100 which I believe is the tallest Monster is still pretty compact for someone your size.

So, is it mainly the height of the bike that matters most or riding position? Or a combination?
Multristrada is a cool bike but, style-wise, I like the Monster more (unfortunately). Is there any mods (different seats, peds, bars) that can help my case? Any 6'3"+ riders happy with their Monster?

I am shorter than you but still find my 1100 a little small. I have added some risers and a Sargent seat and those helped for sure, but I wouldn't list comfort as an attribute. I am working a deal on a Multi right now and debating whether to trade the Monster or not. I believe there are a few adjustable pegs that may give you a little more room, but most of the rearset replacements sit higher than stock. Love it for blasts around town but for anything longer than a few hours I will be on the Multi.

Great feedback! Thanks! I'll definitely look hard at the Multi. This will strictly be an around-town bike so I'll have to keep in consideration.

I'm 6'5 also and love to ride my 1100s around town, if your just going around town or for a couple hour rides I don't cramp. You could get different rear sets that are adjustable, I like to be able to move them and mess with the height till I find what comfortable. What about a street fighter? They are awesome and work great for taller riders.

The Streetfighter is gorgeous! It's a little than I'm looking to spend and might be too much bike for what I need/want.
What's the name of a good adjustable seat that I should look at?

I'm 6'4" 215 and just got a 795. I find it comfortable enough to go through a tank of gas but that's about the time I need to rest. My knees are at the top of the tank cut outs so I could use rearsets that put my feet back a bit. My nuts also get smashed on the tank but it sounds like everyone has that issue.
