Start button not working
Hi
My neighbors kid has a 400 monster 2004
The bike wont do anything by pressing on the start button
All was fine until the bike got rained on and his cluster is damaged and open to the water.
I checked th battery, and the bike does turn over if I jump the solenoid but does not fire.
Petty sure is the wiring behind the headlight, but before I start looking all over..
Could it be an alarm style system?
Kickstand switch?
Should the bike start if I jump the solenoid?
Does the cluster affects the starting and would the bike start with the cluster plug unhooked?
Did check the on/off handlebar switch, jiggled the wires and listened for a realy or something similar ( theres no souns at all)
Anyone can help?
