help...... rear brake cylinder won't work monster s2r 1000

hey i have a ducati monster s2r 1000 year 2006
and my rear brake wont work
-the brake fluid is good
-no air in the system
-nothing on the back pads when i try to brake

my question is .....
should i try to fix it or
better to buy an new one
if yes, where should i buy it from ?
or could i take one from an nother bike ?

i'm sure it's rebuildable but this is how i'd go..........

Do you mean that your pedal goes full travel with no effect on the rear wheel? Or, is the pedal solid and you don't believe you have a strong braking action?

Rear brakes are typically not strong. Also, make sure you are using the correct fluid. Synthetic brake fluids can render the brakes pretty much worthless.

So you're saying the fluid is clean?. Have you just bled the system? Sure it's the right DOT?

Nothing ON the pads?? What do you mean? _There's no pressure or no friction material left?

Fix it? - Depends on the problem

well the pedal goes full travel with no effect on the rear brake peads....
the thing is if i break in the stand or driving it feels like i hit in the nothing
