Monster won't fire up

yesterday i was riding coming up to a stop sign. all of a sudden the bike cut off power, i tried to start it back up and it wont. had to pull over to a gas station and look at it. it keeps cranking and cranking, wont fire up again. I noticed the yellow blinking light and the fuel pump was not turning on. (you know it whirs for a few seconds when you turn the key to 'on' position)

my friend said it was the battery, I bought a brand new one with 6months warranty and it fired up, then died again. fuel pump was not turning on again. I also noticed a loud clicking noise from the 2nd relay on the left side of the battery when I turn the key on.

another friend mentioned it was the wrong key, so i did the 10 second throttle trick to program it again, it fired up, then died again. fuel pump wasnt staying on. then wont turn on again

imo the fuel pump and the engine and all is FINE, its gotta be an electrical problem. whats your opinion?

how's your headlight? nice and bright?
is your brake light slow to reach full brightness?
bad "new" batteries are not unheard of.

Check Voltage at Battery
First Check your Ground Connections to the Engine and Frame
Check Relays. You can swap them to see if it makes a difference, but to me it sounds like the injection relay went south. This relay also is what supplies the 12+V to the coils.
