So recently after installing my dual headlights and using them for the last 100 miles. I've noticed an oily build up inside the lens?!
The first thing I attempt to do is check the seals and take the bulb out to let the housing dry (assuming it was condensation at the time) but little to my dismay the fog didn't disappear. It's some kind of oily build up. I actually had to use a mircofiber to clean out the housing and the inside of the lens. So far i've cleaned them twice but they keep clouding up inside!
The headlights also have two parking lights which pop into the housing, exposing rubber. Could the heat from the bulb be letting the gases out of the rubber? Do bulbs release gas? Has anyone had this same problem?
