M1100 Evo Exhaust Cap Fell Off!?!?!

I commuted to work on my bike yesterday (about 25 miles each way, 95% highway) like I always do when the weather permits. And to my surprise, when I arrived, I noticed the cap on the end of the mufflers was missing.

I had a bolt missing after the 600 mile check up back in July, but I replaced that and never thought twice about it. I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else with the new model & stock exhaust set up?

I had Termis installed on my EVO, so I can't say I have had the same problem. I did have a tail light replaced under warranty that split down the seam and then cracked down the middle of the light. There were no impact marks, and the dealer thought that vibration had compromised a defective seam where the two pieces of plastic were fused. There must be some pretty good vibrations going through the backend.

The top screw came out of mine, but I put terms on before the other one had a chance to escape, Yay Termis!

It's funny you mention that, because I don't think that the exhaust cap intact looks any better than it missing (picture attached).
