SSie Revcounter on Carb-Monster reads low

Like it says in the title, i have fitted a revcounter from an SSie.

Three cables come out of the back, +, - and signal green wire.

When i connect the Revcounter to one CDI it reads low, probably half what it should.

Can i connect the green wire to both CDIs? or will i fry the CDIs???

thanks for any help

Chris
