Tunning the 696 ?'s

Well the time has come for me to throw some cash at my GF's 696. Before I buy the Power commander V and pay for dyno time are there any other options I should explore? Performance wise the only thing done is the QD X-box.

I had my stock ecu reflashed on the 1100. If your mods are common there are many maps available to suit. All I have is the airbox lid opened, and Arrow slip ons. I actually did it for driveability, but the extra low end and midrange are nice. I can actually ride the bike under 4,000 RPM now with it bucking and popping.

Desmoworks.

I also took the opportunity to remove the exhast flapper valve (which the 696 doesn't have) and disable the 02 sensors. So if I do add a pcV later it will be able to tune the entire map.
