Question 796 raising the front forks

Hello!
My uncle wants to raise the front forks on his monster 796. Has anybody here done this and for how much is it safe to raise them before front fender starts touching the radiator?

I would also need tightening torques for all the bolts that have to be loosened to do the adjustment.

Thanks for help!

.5 to an inch for fender clearance. It will change the steering a bit so I'd go 1/2 a t a time and see how it feels.
Get him a service manual for torque specs..

As far as I can tell you'll never hit the radiator on this bike.
