Stainless termi's vs. carbon 1100evo

Any idea what the difference is between the 2 kits besides the obvious? Also any idea why the stainless is $200 more? Looks like both kits come with the ecu and filter so I would think any performance gains would be the same? Only thing I can think of is that the stainless kit is EU emissions approved where the carbons are for "racing" use only

In the USA, every after market exhaust is race only / off-road. Im wondering if the carbon kit ECU has a different map?

The stainless exhaust is homologated and euro street legal. I believe it retains the catalytic converters and has different mapping because of that. The only reason I know is I bought the carbon exhaust and ducati packaged a 696 ecu with it. The shop had a stainless kit in stock and thought they could use that ecu. I told them it was a homologated kit, so they did some research and said the kit retains the catalytic converters and therefore the maps would not work with the carbon kit. After a look at ducati's website, it also looks like the carbon exhaust has removable db killers where the stainless does not.
