'97 Monster rear shock specs? Cross-references?
Well, it looks like 50k and Hyundai-induced wreck put the screws to my rear shock. I have a spare shock from Supersport of similar vintage, but I understand they're longer and might lift the ass end a lot higher than I want. (Not that I won't find out for myself, but in the meantime ... )
So I'm trying to find the specs on the rear shock to my '97 m750 (Sachs unit). Eye-to-eye length, spring rate, torque specs, alternate replacement options - hell, I'd be happy with just about anything. All I know is it's a Sachs w/ a yellow spring and it done broke. It's a good excuse to go hook up a nice Penske or Race-tech, but if I can do it cheaper (Ohlins ... $1100 ouch) that's fine too.
Even a means to cross reference the Ducati part number (365.20.18.1a) to some alternate aftermarket stuff would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
