2009 and newer Instrument Cluster - USELESS!
Just bought a new 2012 796. Absolutely love it!! Once you go Italian, you never go Japanese....okay, doesnt rhyme but you get the point.
I do have one major gripe about the newer monsters, the instrument cluster is EXTREMELY difficult to see during the daytime. Way too much glare on the screen. Somehow Ducati engineers could not figure out how to install a glare free screen.
I ordered a anti-glare sheet from Ebay which Ill have to cut to size. Keep you guys posted!
Other than that, the Duc handles well and is easy to ride. Fun factor increased several notches over my previous Jap bikes!
