M100evo-yes or no

Picking up my EVO this week and have purchased the Termi slip-ons and would like to know if anyone has e definitive answer as to whether or not the tps needs to be reset.

I've been told yes by some dealers and no by others as the ECU is pre tuned.

Thanks.

Its one of those things that couldn't hurt to do... However you can do it yourself in about 5 seconds... To reset tps, turn the key into the on position three times in a row. Turn key on, see text scroll on guage, turn off, then immediately turn back on and off... Do this three times, and should reset.... If you google it, you should get other ways of resetting it

I don't see why you couldn't put termis on from day one, most of the dealers demo bikes have them and they have less than 600 miles on the odometer. Yes you need to reset the fps, but it's a simple 5 second procedure. My dealership only quoted me an hour for the install, not bad considering they have to lift the tank. Plus you get a 2 year warranty on the parts if they do it there, in my opinion that's well worth it considering the problems a bad ecu can cause. Consider putting on a 14t front sprocket as well, I love mine, the bike should have come that way.
