Custom BoomTubes design?
Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to get MotoCreations to design a set of BoomTubes for my '09 M1100. What do you guys think about the stock design vs. the "shotgun" layout?
I was actually thinking about a combination of the two. I'd go for the layout of the "shotgun" style, but have the tips pointing out to the right like the stock exhaust. Or to put it another way, I'd stack the stock exhaust vertically instead of side-by-side.
Keep in mind that I also have the Xcentrik Performance belly pan so Mark is going to design the pipes around that. If you folks have other takes on what would look slick, I'm open to ideas

I prefer the first one, but in staggered formation on the horizontal plane with long tips. (I believe it shows them in parallel)
Makes it look cleaner.
That's how I placed my order, so no bias on my part

So staggered like following the line of the subframe/swing arm? Where the left tip is higher at a diagonal than the right tip?
Thanks for being the only response and someone who actually placed an order, btw

I like the shotgun style. I feel like the other design would melt the sh*t out of your boots

Thanks.
No, staggered like this:

So placement will be the same as what you show in the first pic. It's just that the ends are not flush with each other (that way the one closest to the engine is not sticking out so much).

Great pic's, I have been thinking about an ExBox on my 09-M1100 to match the one on my GF's 696. Have had no problems with hers but lot's of stories regarding their quality. How do the BoomTubes sound? Anyone have sound clips of them on a 1100? What about performance? Any dyno runs with them?
I think I like the shotgun style....But a great idea to stagger the others, looks better.

Hello
Not trying to 'jack your thread, but what's the trick to getting ahold of MotoCreations, anyway? They've ignored my e-mails and phone messages, I'm just looking for a stock S4RS setup.....
Thanks,
