my 620ie
Hi guys, im new to this forum, but I was wondering, I've got myself a 2003 620ie with full fairing kit off the 900ss, so what I was wondering, what modifications could I do to this bike? Its my first proper bike, like I've always riden road trail, so what I was wondering is what are all the modifications I can do to it?
performance, looks, breaking anything that makes the bike better.
thanks for your help, all advice will be a great help
Thanks again,
Brandon

Hey mate,
Welcome, and let me be the first to say picsorban.
But as far as mods go, I'm not sure about visual things because I've never seen a 620 with a fairing kit! But performance wise upgrading the stock pipes, ecu, and air intake make a big difference. I guess clutch slaves and the like are nice too, though the 620 has a pretty light clutch... Oil coolers can help if it runs a little hot as well, which with a full fairing I suppose it might. Clip ons, adjustable rear linkage, rearsets, fork cartidges, etc will help "aggressive" handling. Hell if you want to go all out, buy a $5000 carbon wheelset
Tk

as i said, im new to this forum, if you could help me out and inform me how to put pictures on here that would be much appreciated.
until then, i might as well just say it literally looks like the 98 900ss but it is a 620ie, before i bought it the guy put the fairings and the exhaust of a 900ss onto it.
and if you someone could please help me put pictures on here, that would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Brandon

That's a Supersport 620 (if you say it is a 620) with Supersport 900 fairings; likely replaced the original fairings due to damage.
Did you intend to post in the Monster Forum?

It is on the rego as a Ducati Monster 620ie, so it is 100% definately a monster that has been rebuilt with 900ss fairings

brazza69a, I will ask others to bring their expertise forward.
What I see on the bike is
Supersport Gas Tank
Supersport headlight
Supersport Swingarm
....
I am afraid that is a Supersport that somehow, has registration showing a Monster. Check the VIN on the engine and the frame.

Just responded to your PM. Give me a call and come over right now if you like and see what I have done to mine. You are only 5 minutes away. Richard
