1100 evo Termi and DP ecu error????

Just installed the carbon Termi slip-ons with the filter and ECU from Ducati on my 1100 evo. When I turn the key on the dash displays "MONSTER 696 ABS" WTF is going on?? Do I need to change to a different map or????

Good question, I have no idea? I do know that they share the same Siemens ecu.

Interesting! I had this very same problem when my Termis were first installed on my EVO. The dealer assured me that the only thing amiss would be the dash 'Welcome', but for me that wasn't the case. The fuel mapping was also goofed up (probably that of the 696) and the thing would stall at every red light and barely accelerate.

When I brought it back to the dealer they opened up another kit and grabbed a different ECU. This one registered/performed with no issues.

So there must be either a batch of faulty DP ECUs floating around (in the M1100 EVO kit) or some moron just inserted the wrong one.

Either way, you'll want to get this fixed.

My friend, you are running the incorrect ECU.

I hope you got the kit from a dealer so you can swap the chip without hassle.

That's ridiculous that you got the wrong ECU in the first place... Makes you wonder about Termi...

Same thing happened to me, the dealer took apart the tank, inserted the ecu and it read 696. They only had one other termi kit in stock but it was from the stainless steel system that retains the catalytic converters. They are ordering a new exhaust system now...guess I have to wait longer for my termis

Got rid of the whole DP ecu and termi's. Now have a Mota-lab reflashed ecu, Leo Vince slip on and open air box. The bike runs so much better/correctly its amazing

I had my local dealer order a tail bag for my 1100 EVO. The box came in and only the tail bag was in it. I said, "I think there's something missing here." The piece you bolt on in place of the seat cowl was missing so they ordered another one. I asked them to order this back when I bought my bike...3 months and 2300 miles ago. I still don't have my tail bag. At least I haven't paid them anything for it yet.

Not sure it's just a Termi thing...
