Monster 620 burned out instrument panel
Hi guys.
I purchased an 06 monster 620. First ducati ever i love ducatis too bad it doesn't love me back. The fuel pump primes, but when you hit the start button nothing happens..! I charged the battery, In and out of gear and back to neutral...
I checked the fuses, the 40 amp fuse, tested the solenoid.. and it was good.
After all that i noticed that the cluster wasn't right, the needles wouldn't sweep all the way across the instruments.
Upon inspection of the cluster i noticed some corrosion on the circuit board. It looked as water damage.
I then proceeded to clean it up with contact cleaner and a soft brush. However I noticed that the damage was extensive and i went ahead and took the instrument panel apart. A resistor was burned up. basically I think its fried!.
What should I do? can i swap clusters? I don't have the red key either.
Help!
