Im in LOVE with a Monster 796 -ABS

I am now the PROUD owner of a brand new 2011 Ducati 796 Monster ABS!!! I just picked her up last night at DUCATI of Minneapolis. (GREAT shop BTW!!)

I used to own a 1098 and it was BEYOND over-kill for the mainly city driving I do. Frankly scared the crap outta me most days lol! I've only got 30 miles on the new bike, but I'm already in LOVE. I don't miss the 1098 at all! I'm excited to get past the break-in period and see what this 796 can do.

Nice bike. I ordered that exact one and I am waiting on it to arrive. Did you have to wait for yours or was it in stock? I am getting nervous, they can't even get me a guess on date.

I got the exact bike 2 weeks ago. 2011 796 ABS in Black. The only problem is I picked it up on a Friday afternoon, brought it home in the back of my truck, unloaded it, rode it around the block 2 times, and left early the next morning for Breckenridge, Colorado for six weeks. Talk about frustration.

This bike was originally pearl white, but they had a black body kit in-stock so they swapped them over for me. The pearl looked really nice, but I had to have the black! Ducati of Minneapolis was a GREAT shop to do business with. I'll definitely be buying my next bike though them again.

Stock exhaust sounds great, but I'll most definitely be adding a tremi kit next year.

RLSinOP, I couldn't imagine buying this bike and not being able to ride it for 6 weeks!! I bet you can't wait to get home to her!
