Bimota Market

Hello...new member here. I have a couple of modern bikes and quite a few vintage machines. I've admired the new Bimota's for some time. Curious on the market for the DB6. What would be a good price? I would love to support the dealers and pay more...but I've seen some really good deals recently and wonder where the market is...to see if I might be able to dive in. Thx for any observations

I'm not really sure about the specific market for a DB6 but in general the market seems to be slow. But if a person is looking and a bike comes up then it may be gone, like anything else. I think only people who look for Bimotas are guys who want the special or unique bike and know the brand.
Thus I think one can get a great deal on most any Bimota, if you are lucky.

Thanks for your thoughts. There is a DB6R on ebay with a pretty big discount. I actually want the regular orange DB6 and wondered if the discount on the R was a one-off situation. But I agree...if you snooze you lose.

ducshop originally listed it on ebay for around $23+ k and hasn't sold yet, just not a lot of people out there looking for these bikes now. I did see a DB6 I believe on cycle trader a couple months ago, it was used with only a few hundred miles and I think it was in the $15k range.

I've seen the ducshop bike and in person this is a spectacular looking bike!! I'd love to own it, but don't have enough faith in bimota being in business (this time around) for a sustained period. It was bad enough the mv agusta I had.
