The 16k opening bid shows first that the market has cratered and second that the seller is realistic. I sold mine off (traded off for another Bimota, actually) for near twice this. However, the market for the Vdue has always been thin to start with given their hand grenade/unrideable reputation. This one may be one of the handful of fully rebuilt ones, and that means more than just ripping off inlection and fitting carbs as they had a crankcAse/barrel issue as well, but unless you check with one of the very few in the US who knows, such as Steinbugler, it's still a crap shoot.
So cheap? Perhaps yes, perhaps no. Need to see. By the way, why did I se,l mine? Even fully sorted, power band still very nArrow and just too much of a pain in the butt to hassle with. What was it traded for? DB7. Do I regret the deal? Hell no!
