Great shots and that has always been one of their best recent color schemes. Dave (another very old, very slow guy)

Excellent! Track days are addictive. I was also lucky enough to get out this weekend.

I've been to one track day and found the crazies there to be moe risk for me than agood back road. They come in hard and fast on both sides in the corners and this is the novice group. Nuts no wonder they put the bikes down. Maybe other tracks have less wackos.

This sounds like a problem with the track day organizer. Most novice groups do not allow passing on the brakes. They also restrict passing on the turns, but sometimes allow passing on the outside. Most also require a 6-8 feet passing zone.

I choose this track day provider for the vary reason that the event has hard rules regarding passing and general track etiquette. It was very structured and geared towards street riding skills and not developing club racing skills. I definitely didn't want to get taken out by someone riding in the haze of the 'red mist'.

Getting old is better than the alternative.
No excuse for being old.
Now being slow is another thing entirely.
A track may not be the best spot for everybody,
but Damn that DB6 looks at home there!
Would like to do Miller or Barber someday.....

I first heard the "..better than not getting older." phrase from my now-retired family Doctor. He was older than dirt and a fantastic Doctor.
When I was young and stupid, I thought; "Shit, I hope I never get old."
Now I look at the walking fossils and think; "Maybe I can get there too."
