Bimota contact info for post sales inquiries

After approximately 120+ emails to info@bimotaamerica.com, info@bimota.it, the contact Bimota page on both Bimotaamerica.com and Bimota.it, I have a helpful contact for my dealer and myself.

He is very responsive.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I won't need it but if I do I am sure that you will have saved me much frustration.

The so-called US Distributor, yes one exists, has done zero to prompt or support Bimota in the US. If I need any information or support, I go to my, Bob at Bimota Spirit. Sales in the US have been dismal because of this neglect. Perhaps Bimota in Italy doesn't care since European and other markets remain viable.

Pity. The CYCLE WORLD test placed Bimota in a position to sell a fair number of DB7s as a more unique, more 'street friendly' and (incredibly) less expensive alternative to the 1198/1098R. But they dropped the ball.

Oh well, now you know why they go out of business from time to time, great product, lousy sales and promotion. Dave

You know what is sad? I don't believe they treat their EU counterparts much better. I sent an equal number of emails to the Bimota.it address with a return receipt on it and ZERO were even looked at.

I suspect that those in the EU would pick up a phone at that point and call and hopefully get a person on the other end. In addition their disty network might be integrated into the Bimota "Supply Chain".

We need some hotshot kid who is just graduating from Business School to take this on.

Marzocchi

I've received similar silence from Marzocchi IT & USA.

I've heard that when Euro folks vacation, which is twice as often as us, they turn off their email & voice mail, period. My business dealings with Euro auto companies supports this is true.

I realize it's been 2 years since you posted this up..but I just tried to email Alessandro and got an automated email reply back that his email address is no longer good.

Happen to have a current email address for him or someone else at Bimota?
