How Does a Tesi Handle? Watch This

Here is a You Tube video from Japan of a Tesi 3D being ridden hard around a track, you can see how it handles in comparison with other bikes, a question I have been asked and respond with this video where a picture is worth -- well you know

By the way, the rider is damn good and where the Tesi falls behind from time to time on the straights (presumably where its 1100ds is down on power compared to some of the other bikes out there) he makes up for it in the corners. Bimota does know how to make a great suspension/brake combo. Dave

Cool footage. Although, to me, it appeared the Tesi rider was hanging off much more than the folks he passed and was cranked over much more. Was this the rider, the bike, or the rider because of the bike? Just curious.

Have a good one.

Riding style as far as I can tell. I find the handling of my Tesi 3D (and that of the 2D) fairly neutral and quite stable. And, for a guy hanging off that much, he wasn't really getting down all that far. Of course, at age 62 with a duff back and hip, my days of extreme hanging off are well in my past, so who am I to pick on him Dave

I know what you're sayin'. That vid would have been a blast with a bit more aggression from the other riders is all.

I rarely get my butt off the seat myself. There not much opportunity for the clear, safe corners to do so around here. It's strickly 'the Pace' kind of riding. That and the local track is not the place I'd like to try out (no runoff in many locations). It is a lot like the Tsukuba Circuit. A member here (Higgy) posted up a vid of his modded 911 turning fast laps. All I saw was safety barrier and trees.

Have a good one.

Nice! Of course the rider is going to be cranked over more because he is going faster than the other guys.
