Which model Bimota should I buy?
I'm ready to add a Bimota to the stable and I'm looking for advice. I currently ride a Ducati S2R1000 for the canyons and a BMW K1200S for two up. I am an experienced rider however I am inseam challenged with a beer belly. The model that seems to make the most sense is the DB6R but I feel it is too similar to the monster. I like the looks of the DB5R but the riding position may be too aggressive. A dealer has a new one available with the 992 engine for $20K, which fits the budget. To me, the Tesi 3D is one of the coolest bike I have seen but is close to $30K. I value all opinions especially because I have not yet riden a Bimota.
Thanks,
Steve

1st, welcome to the club!
2nd, speaking from my own experience, once you ride a Bimota, you'll be hooked....so get your checkbook ready.
3rd, check some of the previous posts by "dnovo"...Dave's ridden/owned most (if not all) of the new Bimotas, and I find his criticisms & remarks to be accurate, at least for the bikes that I've also ridden.
See you out there,
Bruce

Check out the salt lake city bimota dealer...they have had some truly exceptional deals on existing inventory.

I vote for the Tesi because the hub steering design is a work of art

Tesi's found cheaper than you'd think possible
I flew into San Francisco it must now be 4-6 months ago.
They had a Tesi 3D at a dealership, might have been a 2008 Zero miles
new for $ 24,000 sometimes they just need to clear inventory.
I posted this TWICE BEFORE about this discounted TESI
I have never heard the guys here on this Forum even comment on this great price , maybe silence is the key since they might have spent way too much for the ones they bought.
Just wanted to see someone get a good price at the time they had it for that low price

$24K is a great price! (there - I've said it.)
I still vote for the Tesi

Thanks for all of the replies. $24k for a new Tesi is very attractive. I will give the dealership a call in the morning.
