DB-1sr on Ebay

A beautiful bike, rare and an absolute pleasure to ride. Very tiny, catlike reflexes, and a bit of history and rolling art. I love mine but need two like a spare aperture. Someone here should buy it asap.

Well more than the $12,000 bid. The auction is already over and it only had one bid.

Then that has to be what it is worth $12,000.

Yep but it might be dodgy to register in the US as apparently a canadian bike.

Someone with dealer plates and a lot more than $12k would be a happy owner!

No one missed it, the reserve was not met so it may be back. I would love to know more about the Canadian Cert. of orrigin. I have talked to a lot of people here and found out that very few Bimotas were brought here and that they were all rounded up by transport Canada and destroyed. (Not sure of how true this is.) The story is they were imported illeagally and thus could not be sold. The only Province that is not part of this stupid crap seems to be Quebec but I am not certain.

One older sales guy told me he knew of a Bimota that had escaped and when I later tracked him down again he told me the guy had sold it to someone in the US.
I sent this guy a question about this and we'll see if he comes back with an answer.

The bike is gone.

The seller wrote back to inform me that he was given "an offer that he couldn't refuse." Darn it...

The seller, however, does have an YB8 that wants to sell, but for shure it ain't no DB1!
