DB4 mirror removal ?

I need to remove the mirrors from my DB4 to replace the nose fairing. The mirrors are attached by some pretty odd fittings and it looks like there may be two studs from the mirrors that go through the fairing and press into a little spring steel retaining clip that is pop-riveted to the fairing. Before I start prying and yanking on things, I wanted to see if anyone else has ever done this.

Thanks

There should be a small allen headed bolt between the studs, you have to remove this first then wiggle and pull the mirriors off the bike. When you put them back on be carefull not to over tighten the bolt, it is made to break if the mirriors hit anything.
