Duc 904 motor with FI stalls when you stop

Bike idles fine and runs very well with great throttle response, but stalls out when I stop. If I come to a fast or slower stop it is the same, very slow is fine. The tank is full, new plugs (right type), clean air filters. Sure I can blip the throttle but shouldn't have to.
Any ideas?

If it idles fine when parked but you only have prolems when riding it. Check the rear brake it may be dragging. Just open the pads and go ride it, don't touch the rear brake, see it this helps. It puts extra drag on the motor even with the clutch pulled in and will cause it to stall.

Betcha you have water in the gas tank. My St2 used to do the same thing...slam on the brakes and the water at the bottom of the tank would rush forward to the fuel pickup causing the bike to stall. Slow stops no problem, fast stops ; stalling...betcha!

No way, drained that tank twice since I got it. The first time to ship it to Canada from Europe (Dead empty and then some after two days out in the hot sun). Then this winter I took it off and drained it again.

As far as the brakes go I am now in doubt about that. I checked the rear wheel without doing anything to the brakes and it was free. Even after application it was still free.

That has led to a tune up, of sorts with new plugs and cleaning of the cables etc. so everything runs smooth. I now have found the horizontal cyl does not fire at idle, or only sometimes. I will be looking into this in the next few days to see if the coils are ok. This could be the problem.

Anyone have specs on what these coils should read on a test meter? My one book has no info.

Thanks for the thoughts though.
