Tesi 3D Battery Weak, Loose Screws, Box Mount - Ducati.ms

Have less than 200 miles on bike and battery weak in starting.

This even with a full charge from battery tender.

Pulled battery and found 4 gouge marks.

4 screws had backed out 1/16th to 1/8th inch.

Had to be loose from factory.

I have heard all sorts of stories etc. about batteries. Some are just bad from the start, some charging systems overcharge and kill them. Do you have a load tester? As long as the case is not penetrated then the battery is ok, even though it may no longer be safe from a leakage point of view. The acid could do a lot of cosmetic and corrosive damage. It would be a shame on a Tesi.
