KB-3 fork seals
Hi
While this isn't a Ducati-powered Bimota, maybe someone here can help.
My KB-3 restoration is moving along, and I need some new fork seals. The ones in there now are clearly wrong - they fit snugly on the stanchion, but they're a rattle-fit in the slider, and they're not tall enough.
The KB-3 was/is fitted with Forcelle Italia 40 mm forks, and these have a very sexy quick-release mechanism for the axle. I _believe_ these forks were also fitted to the rubberband Ducati 750 F1 models (Montjuic, Laguna Seca, SantaMonica). Can anyone confirm this?
More questions:
A. Can anyone tell me what size the seals should be?
B: Can anybody suggest a source for these seals?
C: does anyone out there have any literature on these forks (assembly diagrams, instructions)?
Regards
Thomas

Thank you, Mr. Quadrasuarass! Interesting page, and the tables of fork-oil quantities are appreciated.
regards

I found a ton of info on http://micapeak.com/ and they cover ALL Bimota's. Look down the right side of the page at "Mailing List archives"
Not a very lively site now but it may come back, lots of people still are getting mail from it. Ask there too.
