bimota's collection
I had the pleasure of being able to visit Bimota spirit in Raleigh North Carolina and took some pictures of what my dream garage would look like. Bob the owner is awesome and a very congenial gentleman and a real enthusiast who not only owns, but builds these bikes and he also does his own restoration on vintage bikes. so without any further ado here are the bikes. enjoy!

i wish i had more time to get better pictures and speak more to the owner of the collection, bob knows his Bimotas up and down, inside out, what was soo cool about his set up was all these bikes are not in a garage or store per se its in a house and his showroom is really a livingroom and as you look around his place you could feel the love for the brand that was slowly built and still building through decades. heres a link to his website http://www.bimotaspirit.com/home.html
again thanks to bob for allowing me a peek at these bikes. maybe next time ill swing by with a better camera and more time

Bob should really be called "Mr Bimota"
I also have been at his Museum of bikes , I took a video of the room where all these pics are from. Too bad he didnt show the early Bimota race bikes in one room. He has a pedestal with an Early Tesi with all the body parts off.
He has a SB7 on a pedestal also. Downstairs is quite the work shop with about
4 lifts to work on bikes. The shop seemed to be shutdown at the time.
I dont think Bob put full time into repair of the bikes but that may be different now. He also has huge steel shipping containers full of new old stock models.
To ride anywhere with decent twisty roads from where this place is I believe is quite the drive.
Bob really is one of the first big Bimota guys in the country. If you want to buy from the best ,go to him and get the right bike for you

Bob is a good guy. The first time we talked on the phone I told him that I really wasn't in the market for a Bimota and didn't want to waste his time. His response? "C'mon by on Saturday morning. I'll be in the shop anyway." He even had a pot of coffee going. His attitude was that since I was an enthusiast for the brand, found him on the internet and sought him out, he had time for me.
That first Saturday I spent about 3 hours in his shop. The next Saturday my wife went with me and we were there for a couple more hours. Eventually I bought my SB6 from him and now I'm thinking about what my next Bimota will be.
