The best looking Bimota is the one you have in the garage!

Now if you happen to have a number of them, then its a personal choice.

My favorite Bimota is the Tesi 3D.......it has great looks as well as one of a kind design....a fantastic blend of form and function.

I know that the "strange" looks with out the front forks that are so familiar to motorcycling, is not loved by all. But the fact that Bimota has made this double swing armed sports bike to me is a real plus.

In person the Tesi 3D is a real masterpiece. Not just the styling, but the level of workmanship that goes into the bike is of the highest level.

Another favorite for me is the Bimota SB8RS bike. It has extremely female like curves and lines in its design. Its really pronounced from a "birds eye view". Looking down on the bike you can really see the hour glass shape. It almost as if the designer was working with a female nude model when doing the clay modeling of the bike.

But if we get right down to the bottom of this inquire......any and all Bimotas are beautiful (except the French LSD designed Mantra DB3......)......much more that the average bike.

The italians just have to make things with an eye for beauty beyond just the functional. Thats why all my bikes (except one....a BMW), are Italian, and 4 of them are Bimotas.

Tesi's futuristic look with flowing style

From what I've read , these earlier Tesi's did have some problems to deal with
They really were ahead of their time in smooth creative styling
The other has to be the DB4 sleek, smooth curves , an all balanced look
simple but effective

lets be honest for awhile

I guess it is all about whats in your own garage and it makes you happy.
The designers just try to give enough variety to keep all the factories open
designs improve, eye candy will sell
Just get out as much as you can and ride those little devils
gettem off the shelf collecting dust

Well I need a little education here. The Tesi shown above is not the same as the one I have found below. Then there is the one below that! Ok figured it out in part.
The post from Roamer shows a red and white 1/D ES 904 motor from 1993 with 50 made.
The black one is the 1/D EF from 1994 with a 904 motor and only 25 made.

A first edition 90-91 with 851 motor and 127 made.
However these models below are still a big ??????????? I have seen pictures that look like they come from a museum that include models like this. Anyone been to the Bimota factory?

The SB2 and SB6R are a near tie for the title.
