bimotas at the rock store
assuming the weather is good, we are going to have a gathering of bimotas at the rock store on sunday, december 7th. we will be showing the first of our new "factory custom" bikes - a carbon fiber/pearl orange db7. we are also planning to have a santamonica, sb6r (with a graves built engine/6-speed transmission) & sb8r. if anyone else in the area cam make it, we would love to see as many bimotas as possible.

here is a "teaser" shot of the db7 - look for it on the cover of ultimate motorcycling (formerly robb report motorcycling).

Went to the Rock Store and WOW, that bike looks great in person. I think you pretty much nailed the perfect color scheme for that bike.

What an unforgetable bike Ken! The DB7 was everything I expected & much, much, more!
I was there at 11:30 with my DB4 Tricolore and Kathy on the 748s, here's a photo of me asking;
"Ken, where were you?!"

Well I saw this post too late anyways, but I didn't go riding on Sun cuz I took my Qvale out to the annual Motor4Toys car show. Hopefully I will get another chance to see that bike soon.

long story - bimota sent me new mapping for the santamonica so i thought this would be a great way to test it out. left yesterday morning and got about ten miles before the plugs almost fouled out (luckily did make it back home). by the time i reloaded the old map and changed the plugs, i decided to pass for the day.
