Bimotas out it public
I thought I'd start a thread (inspired recently by "Catimann") where we can post photos of Bimotas in use. After all, we do ride them (right??).
Here's a few of my Tesi 1Dsr, Furano, and Supermono (now replaced with a DB4...no photos yet) to start it off>
Credits:
photo 1, my wife Kathy & I
photo 2, (L to R) myself, Jay Leno, Ed Milich (Ed's black Dieci behind the Furano)
photo 3, Tesi, Malibu
Photo 4, Yup, I like to ride "naked"!
photos 5 & 6, The Rock Store, Malibu

I see you saw Leno. I'm jeleous of him for his toys, at least he uses them, I like that. (He has a Megola like my Avatar) So tell me how did you get such a naked bike? (Love the seat, trying to save weight? )
I'll add this summers crossing on the Fort Langley Ferry.

Zeller: post your own damn photos of your former Tesi! You do NOT have permission to co-opt my opulent lifestyle digitally! (However, you DO have permission to let me know whenever your selling something out of your collection again).
Andreas: As you might imagine, Mr. Leno is fun to be around. Every one of his purchases is special to him and he knows the history and mechanicals of each one I've queried him about. In other words, his collection is not just a large scale warehouse of trophy bikes & cars....he's a serious man who really enjoys (and rides & drives) his stuff. I consistently see him riding/driving in my local (mountainous) area. Nice guy too.
Tesi: Riding the Tesi naked is enjoyable for me for several reasons...I can ride a little harder knowing the bodywork wasn't at risk.....I sit at least an inch lower and could hug the fuel tank closer, which made the bike handle better....and I love to see the real beauty of the bike underneath the bodywork. Now that the 2D, 3D, and Vyrus models have come out sans full fairings, it's not as special to see (but I do it anyway!).

actually, i was referring to the shots at the rock store with my sb8r. as to other bikes, there is a santamonica that could have your name on it
now that the our program with bimota is in full swing there should be a lot of new factory custom bimotas showing up at the various hangouts. this week we will get the very first factory custom db7 with two more coming in the following weeks.

I have seen a Vyrus only on the net, wonder if any made it over here? I also saw that Yamaha made a nonfork bike many years ago but I don't know the model.

Ken> Sorry for the misunderstanding....can't keep track of all the 2 wheelers in your life! I'm just starting an addition to my homestead....no new toys for a while.....
Andreas> I've seen 1 Vyrus personally in Los Angeles...can't vouch for any others in the USA, but there's defiinately 1 over here.

This mornings ride to the HESS Central Florida's version of the Rock Store. Just no curves, actors, our scenery.
