Hi Ken, Doug Olmsted here....There are a few SB8K owners here so hopefully someone in the know can answer your questions. I have been seriously thinking of picking up a SB8K Santa Monica too, but right now I have a Tesi 3D coming within the next week or 2.

The SB8K gauges I know can store data as well as contain 2 basic FI maps, one for road and one for sport/race. There is both a programable shift light as well as other options, but after doing research on this, I have not found out much more than this.

If you get a SB8K please let me know what mods you come up with....If/when I get one, Ill buy what ever aftermarket items you come up with.

By the way, do you have any thing for the Bimota Tesi 3D? It uses a 1100 DS Ducati engine like the new multistrada. With a wet clutch rather than dry.

Anyway, it good to "hear" from you

hey doug, good to hear from you. i just can't keep away from the bimotas - i've worked on several in the last couple weeks including the tesi 3d & the db7 and it got me back in the mood. i'm sure i will do a few things to the sb8k if i get one (exhaust, tuning, performance intake, etc.).
