When they were new, the Corse kit (Ti exhaust, flatslides, K&N's, special fuel tank) was a $2500 +/- option....and a very desirable one too. Of course I'm speaking of the carb'd versions of the DB4.
Clean examples of these I've seen in the neighborhood of 9-10K USD....when you can find one for sale.

so if the bike has the ti exhaust, flatslides and k&ns what is different about the fuel tank?
does this add value to the bike? or just help the sale?
thanks

Externally the bodywork is the same. The tank is abreviated at the front as the original airbox is removed and the carbs/filters need the space.
I've never ridden a stock DB4, but the Corse kit cuts weight and adds power. That can never be a bad thing, can it?

I purchased a New 2000 DB4ie fuel injected bike about 8 months ago from the importer. It is a full fairing Bi posta model with the Ducati fuel injection. It is the Red/Silver/Black model. I was told there was only 6 imported in the USA. Currently has 675 miles on it and never dropped. The only modifications are LSL bar risers and Ducati 999 radial brake and clutch levers. I replaced the belts due to being 8 years old with zero time. I still have all the stock items.
Everything has a price .......................$11,500.00

Here is one in SF: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/mcy/711190810.html
This has been on here at least 2x before and if I remeber right he wanted just over 12 the first time and around 11 the second. Now he says offers.
