Nice KB1!

I just had the opportunity to browse Bimota Spirit's website again and saw this latest posting with photos. Bob Steinbugler has "restified" a KB1 sans fairing and the result is one helluva' beautiful bike.

Check it out: http://www.bimotaspirit.com/news.html

looks like the headlight is mounted to the forks and not the frame, I wonder how that effects night riding during turns.

I think most motorcycles had there headlights mounted that way, do not remember it to be much of a problem.

Not much at all. If you think about it you really don't turn the bars much when you're riding. At slow speeds where you do turn the bars, the light will be pointing to where the bike is going so you could argue it's a better set up than frame mounted lights.

+1 Quite typical arrangement for vintage bikes, and not that rare for current bikes...

I suppose the chopper set has been doing that for ever, I just never noticed a sport bike with that arrangement. I guess I was thinking more monster than road king.
