Special order DB5R has arrived - pictures!

Moto Corse Performance of Ft. Lauderdale just received their special order DB5R that was build by Bimota for them just in time to be raced at Daytona in March during Bike week. A few more goodies will be installed over the next few weeks and then this baby will be ready to run there.

Call me just the picture guy, for specific questions contact Chris Boy at Moto Corse Performance in Ft. Lauderdale - BoyMCP@comcast.net

I believe he and his crew will be there this year with a total of four DB5's and this one is the first DB5R.

I noticed that swing arm and was wondering if anyone knew the design idea behind that? I don't see it saving weight but could see it being easier to build. The swing arm needs a jig to weld and then probably machine after and that would need a lot of work. Those wheel mount sections would be easy to machine on a CNC and thus would be much faster.
