Bimota mantra - Ducati.ms

There is a Bimota Mantra on ebay. FYI

It is not mine, nor do I know anything about it, but the Mantra can be converted into a DB4 ,or a really cool streetfighter or a race bike. I purchased a DB4 Ohlins upper triple clamp from a member that races a DB4 with ducati supersport plastic and was then told it was actually a Mantra. Same frame etc. He prefers the Mantra due to the lower initial cost compared to a DB4 and then converts them to race bikes.

I'd leave it stock. There is a certain baroque charm about it -- or perhaps so ugly its neat? In any event, it sure is unique. Dave

Ah, it belongs to a Chris Dolan (he's on the LA Busa board and probably several others) who's got a stable of 200+ bikes, 22 (I think) of which are Bimotas.

Agree with Dave - I'd say keep it original because it's so...er..."special"!

Yeh this is one of those Love/Hate machines. I think it looks kind of cool in that retro 50's way. But this is not a bike for me, but if I had a big collection this would have to be in it!
