Slime
Has anyone ever used this and what do you think? Saw some at the bike show and gave it some thought, but did not buy. http://www.slime.com/product_74_Tire_Sealant.html
I've had one blow out in my life, rear tire, on a bridge with a passenger Not sure I'd want one like it in the front at speed.

contrary to what they say, any liquid in your tire can cause imbalance. might be OK for a dirtbike, but I don't want extra weight bouncing around in my tires. most tire shops will not like you if you bring in a tire to change that has goo inside it.

I agree. I've had that crap holding one of the tires on my car together for the better part of a year now with no issues.... but I wouldn't put it in a motorcycle tire if you paid me (other than to just get me home)

Thanks for the info. I bought a bottle and will put it in my enduro's front tube. I change those tires my self so I'll see what a mess it is one day. The reason I bought it was for the discount on the Skyrunners, see video clip:

I've wanted these since I first saw them in Europe years ago. Now I can break a leg in truly stupid form!
I'll first need to get into better shape to do this stuff though.

the real bugger with that stuff is when you go to change the tire eventually, even in car application its NASTY when you pull a tire off a rim and this green sh*t is everywhere inside.

Not slime, Flat Attack
Both are green but what I ended up buying is Flat Attack. Is it different? Well they say it is but I'm not sure so you decide: http://www.flatattack.com/index.html
I do like their web site better because it is simple and to the point, where Slime's Seems to be more hype.
I'll try it in my Enduro and see.

Slime
I've only put that stuff in a wheelbarrow. Wouldn't think of using in my bike tires.

Is this the same stuff that sets up on the roads in Oregon during the winter? How long 'till summer?
