I agree, but there is no denying the look of rather brutal efficiency of the 2D. Kinda, 'styling be damned, function over form' or perhaps Bauhaus school? In any event, sure is unique.
Oh, and it is red, not orange. The lighting was bit odd. Dave

Hey Dave,
I didn't know anything about these bikes.......
Very cool, i am a big fan, it is such a brutal looking thing.

I use the scientific method, i.e. "ennie, meenie, minie, mo" Actually, the older stuff goes out in rotation and then when the weather and conditions are right. Pushing a nearly 30 year old HB2 around in crap weather puts at risk where parts that are too hard to find in the first place and I couldn't live with myself if I wadded it. Insurance replaces dollars, not something that is near impossible to find. Ditto on my British vintage rides, want to try to rebuild a Gold Star that took a lot of time and a lot of $$ to get into that state? Not me.
But none, repeat, none are garage queens, they all get out a couple times a year. The newer ones more often, and some quite a bit. (The DBs are too much fun not to ride.)
The current stuff goes out in rotation as well. If I ride the 3D one day on the weekend, then its the DB5 or SB6R etc the next day, and so on. Then there are others for other times. My son has a 749S, so my 999S goes out when we ride together. K1200GT for long trips, etc.
Might as well ride while I still can, although today, coldish and greyish, light drizzle, I was out on the 2D to see how it reacted. Worked fine, and got to the local breakfast place and with the exception of the K1200/1200RT crowd, the only other guy there was on an old Virago, and he is 77!!!! So while I can, I will. Dave

That Laverda in the back ground is also a very nice piece. Just saw a friend who is 78 and just had some heart work done, one of his arms was stitched to his body for a while. Was told no more motorcycles, he was out this Sunday on a new big scooter with a big smile on his face.

is that under belly exhaust stock or after market? how does it sound compared to the typical Duc aftermarket? can the oil be changed with the muffler in place? have you heard the QuatD Xbox? I was thinking of it for my multi, but that LeoVince looks very nice.

The Leo Vince underbelly exhaust is 100% stock on this model Bimota/Vyrus, and sounds great. As I said before, this bike seems to have been sourced with every neat part you can imagine (I believe that big-as-a-soup-bowl Autometer tach is a US built item) and then they put on the bare minimum to make it street legal, like the mirrors and turn signals.
